My Perspective on Transformation
My Perspective on Transformation
So many people seek transformation. Especially inner transformation.
But only a few are truly ready to follow through – truly ready to go through this process.
What does Transformation really mean? What is it? How and when it happens?
I will start by giving you the real message from it.
Here is the message from the word ‘Transformation’.
The roots for this one come from Latin.
* ‘Trans’ = across, beyond, or through.
This prefix is tied to movement. It means movement.
As an example let’s take Transportation – the act of moving goods or yourself from one place to another. You travel, you order things online; as a business owner, you deliver goods online or offline. Etc.
This is movement through physical actions. Right?
Let’s take it further.
The same thing happens when you seek Inner Transformation.
*’Tion’ from Tio, tionis in Latin = ‘the act of’ or ‘the result of’.
Transformation takes place when:
You move beyond, across, and through form (aka ‘FORM’ from transform).
Change happens as a result of this process.
Let’s take it even further.
*Inner transformation
Change happens when you move beyond, across, and through… your human form.
This refers to both physical and spiritual form. (see the post about spirituality, where spiritus in Latin means breathe – I explain more there).
Transformation happens when you understand and accept both sides of the human form – when you ALLOW emotions and thoughts to happen in order to reach a balanced state.
Transformation
(the messages from this word)
1 – Change your states beyond, across, and through your human form to bring results.
2 – Move and evolve beyond, across, and through your human form!
*Where states refer to your thoughts and emotions.
All of this shows how you can transform your inner states to live a balanced life.
*The Answer Is in the word itself!
Changing from one emotion to another, or from one thought to another, is a natural human process when you seek change – when you go through transformation.
You do it naturally!
When you become Aware of this process the change happens faster, making it stable, Balanced.
Let me give you an example.
* Kids. When they are small they can get really upset in one moment, and back to happiness after maybe just a hug, in the next moment. They fall, cry, and smile again like nothing ever happened. In minutes! Maybe less.
It’s their natural state to recover fast after a “bad” moment and forget. They are a perfect example of living the joy of life and not focusing on the negative side of it.
This is their beauty – this natural state of being.
Your argument may be – Yeah, but they don’t have a fully developed brain yet. True.
But a natural state is not tied to the brain. But to mind, to emotions especially.
As we become adults things change, because of the external “noise” and we forget about those natural states we still have in us. But the state doesn’t forget about us.
So it happens, still, but with resistance sometimes.
You can find yourself changing emotional states in minutes as an adult, but because society and mental health inhibit it through labels, you resist it. You’ve learned that is not a good thing, so you create resistance.
Even though you are born with it, is a natural state to overcome difficult situations by allowing them to happen, by accepting them – and further on, to balance them.
Let me give you other examples.
*Average Moms. They can be upset or even cry about some adult stuff going on for them, but if their kid says or does something funny, or hugs them, moms will change states in seconds. Why? She understands that her problems shouldn’t be passed on to her kid (1) and (2) she enjoys a moment that brings her peace and joy.
*Friends. You are upset and a friend calls you at that moment telling you something funny. You immediately switch states.
*Yourself. Working to get over a challenging situation – so you work on changing states to make them balanced and lasting. Until then, you are up and down multiple times.
That switch helps you in the long term to find your inner balance and accept things for what they are without getting affected by it. Emotional regulation at its best when you have the tools to work with!
Which means, in the end, gaining self-control over emotions and thoughts.
This requires time. This is transformation!
I will make one final note regarding the process of transformation.
Why do ‘experts’ label this natural human experience as a mental illness, as a disorder?
When is a human natural state to overcome a difficult situation?
When is Transformation happening as they live it?
The word itself explains it:
Transformation – Change your states beyond, across, and through your human form to bring results!
I believe this world became a bucket of labels, and diseases, with Zero solutions. Why?
Lack of awareness and evolution in the system.
When we have all the answers right in front of us.
*I do agree that some people need support while going through inner transformation.
Imagine – what our world would be like if experts would integrate in therapy self-growth methods, along with their present expertise. (?)
Luckily, more and more people become aware – and they have found solutions, for themselves, successfully.
Keep transforming yourself! Emotional regulation will give you the balance you seek, and it will make inner transformation available. Which will also balance your thoughts – emotions and thoughts are interconnected.
Start gaining self control!
Stay grounded while doing so, and honor all parts of your humanness.
What does transformation mean to you?
