Cross MMA symbol & word – Blending religion with spirituality

Now that Easter is near… a perfect moment to address it. (and this year we have both, Catholic and Orthodox Easter on the same day)

We will start with this

 ♱

The vertical line of the cross represents your connection to spirit, consciousness – your presence, and truth.

The horizontal line represents matter/time, what we experience in reality, past and future, the mind.

Where time (horizontal) meets eternity (vertical).

Cross gesture

Using the cross sign on yourself – is a ritual that represents blessing oneself.

Let’s dive deep.

Orthodox cross sign – forehead, lower belly/navel, right and left shoulder.

Catholic cross sign – forehead, chest, left and right shoulder.

When you connect with your forehead in faith, which in spirituality is known as the third eye, you connect with divine knowledge – you acknowledge it!

Also known as your intuition, this is how you receive upfront insights (that moment when something happens and you say – I knew it, is your intuition materialized, divine knowledge).

When you connect with your lower belly in faith (orthodox), also known as the root chakra, you become aware of your human presence here, you acknowledge it.

When you connect with your chest in faith (catholic), you recognize the presence of divinity, of Christ, in your life and body.

In spirituality, the chest = heart chakra – the center of love, connection, and unity.

When you connect with your left and right shoulder in faith

Catholic – left, right – from human limitations to divine grace.

Orthodox – right, left – from divine authority to human vessel, also to divine grace.

Spiritual – Ying and Yang, feminine (left) and masculine (right), duality, balance.

Messages across all religions and practices (faith is faith regardless of the name you give it):

1 – Acknowledge and receive the divine guidance and knowledge in your life, in your body, through your body – vertical line.

Divine insights become available and materialized in your reality when you acknowledge and receive them fully through faith. When you are present while receiving these divine insights. (here comes into play manifestation practice too, in terms of spirituality – teaching the same thing)

2 – Recreate balance while facing the duality of life – good and bad, masculine and feminine, yin and yang.

When you are centered, the transformation of what you want happens. (when doing the cross sign, regardless of religion, the Center is the Heart)

3 – The first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity, Constantin the Great, before a battle, saw a vision of the cross with the words:

In hoc signo vinces (Latin) = In this sign you will conquer

 MMA for the word itself

Cross = crossing

A simple and direct message here:

1 – You can cross on the other side of yourself with faith. In other words, whatever you want to overcome is possible when you believe in yourself, in divinity – when you have faith.

The double “ss” at the end of the word implies silence – as in “shh” or “zip it” (lol).

This leads me to the following message:

2 – Your transformational process must happen in silence to reach inner balance. Meaning, when you’re struggling with something, stay focused on the practice of transformation, and not on the rant, not on what created imbalance in the first place. This goes into manifestation practice as well.

Now, let me blow your mind!

Let’s talk about the human body, and anatomy for a bit – it will make sense, just keep reading.

Stand tall, feet together, hands wide open horizontally – Your physical human form is a Cross.

Now internally,

Your spine – multiple crosses there, from the base of the skull to the pelvis.

Spine + shoulders – another visible cross.

Heart and circulation

Major blood vessels run vertically, while others branch horizontally – cross structure again.

The muscular system, nervous system and brain, even energy system…

All of it is full of cross structures.

All of these structural crosses support movement, balance, and the nervous system.

God is you, and you are God. The universe is you, and you are the Universe.

Call it as you want – IS THE SAME THING, FAITH. Flowing through each of us regardless of our religion or beliefs.

Now you have the full picture. The message is the same no matter how you look at it.

We are all spiritual! Simply because we breathe, and this is another MMA I did for spirituality before, where Spiritus in Latin means Breath – which is self-explanatory.

Stop following trends, all of this separation between religion and new age spirituality – many do it because it’s a trend only, with zero understanding of its foundation.

We are all different and we go about it in different ways, with different rituals – and it’s ok.

But the foundation is the same, what we seek and want is the same!

We do these rituals to achieve transformation, inner balance, harmony, clarity, etc, etc.

There is no such thing as ONE ritual better than the other – one size fits all doesn’t exist, the same with faith.

We apply it differently, but fundamentally we have the same process with the same destination – we just use different words, traditions, or practices, to materialize it, to manifest it into our physical life.

Same starting base – faith. Same destination. Different paths to reach it.

We express it differently, but the structure is the same.

We have a sacred architecture in the human body. Only this fact should give you the answer you seek.
