Self Love Perspective

There is a fine line between self-love and selfishness.

More and more people understand the importance of self-love, of loving yourself.

And yes, it’s a must.

But, some of them lack consideration for other people when doing so – aka selfishness.

Real self-love doesn’t equal being selfish!

It doesn’t mean you Only seek your best interest and cross the line there.

Let’s have this cleared out.

Loving Yourself Means

Full acceptance of who you truly are (especially when no one’s watching).

Which leads to becoming the best version of yourself – and this will be reflected in your everyday life.

When you become the best version of yourself you are willing, naturally, to accept without judgment and embrace other people’s journeys. To listen and help others around you. (those you Choose to have around)

Real self-love means you’ve learned when to say No and when to say Yes – so you don’t get drained.

It means you always do things for the best interest of all involved.

It means real balance and authenticity when interacting with others – which, again, is going to be reflected inside out.

To get here you have to learn Self Control (to apply it when necessary) – over your thoughts, emotions, actions and reactions.

Ask yourself…

Am I truly loving myself or I’m just being selfish?
