Let’s address childhood trauma, and not only.

Everything is happening because you carry that childhood trauma with you. How many times did you hear this? Many times, I’m sure.

It holds a bit of truth. You start embodying beliefs in childhood, you form patterns influenced first of all by your childhood experiences.

You carry those experiences with you during life, blaming what happened to you back then. 

Why is this still happening? Why all your choices are influenced by those experiences?

Because you keep identifying yourself with those experiences! You keep on bringing them to the present moment, therefore affecting your present choices. 

You are not your past, but your present!

When you think back to a negative experience and attach feelings to it, you bring it to your present moment and relive it. On another note, you will know you overcame a negative experience when you can remember it without feeling the hurt but as a story.

I find it relevant to bring forward also your teenagehood trauma. What about your adulthood trauma? 

You are more conscious about any experience happening so the “trauma” can be more intense than it was in your childhood, isn’t it? 

If you’re looking for traumatic experiences you’ll find them at any age of your life.

How do you keep them present?

You keep repeating the same old story which creates false belief patterns that will influence your decisions. And therefore your life quality. Things don’t necessarily happen because it’s your fault or anyone’s fault. Stop looking for fault in others, or in yourself, in all experiences you have and you’ll be more at peace.

Understand that each of us is here to experience life in all ways and to discover the FACT that you can overcome anything if you decide to.

What can you do to ease your life and overcome a traumatic experience? So many things.

I will name a few:

Change the narrative, your self-talk.

Start implementing new beliefs through practice.

DECIDE what you really want and focus on that. Ask yourself, WHAT IF everything can work out in my favor this time?

Continue to transform.

Make this your new assumption: I am not my past, but my present!
